Brief Background
The Agricultural Knowledge Management Unit (AKMU) of ICAR–National Research
Centre for Grapes (NRCG), Pune facilitates the use of Information and
Communication Technology (ICT) for research, administration and information
dissemination. The Unit provides essential IT, computer networking and
Internet-based services to scientists, technical and administrative staff, and
other users of the Institute.
AKMU maintains the Institute’s key IT
infrastructure, including the Local Area Network (LAN), Internet connectivity,
servers and associated software, video conferencing facilities, and the official
Institute website.
