NRL, ICAR-NRC for
Grapes is accredited for testing of pesticide residues in different fruits and
vegetables and aflatoxins in peanut and peanut products by NABL. The scope of
accreditation includes 351 pesticides in fruits and vegetables and 4 aflatoxins
(B1, B2, G1, and G2) in peanut and peanut products. This is highest scope for
pesticides among any ICAR institutes
ISO/IEC 17043: 2010 Accreditation:
NRL, ICAR-NRC for
Grapes is accredited “Proficiency Testing Provider” for pesticide residues in
fruits and vegetables and aflatoxins in peanut and peanut products. This is the
only institute in ICAR system having this accreditation. The scope of
accreditation includes 228 pesticides.
Recognized as National Reference Laboratory by FSSAI:
NRL, ICAR-NRCG is
being recognized as the National reference Laboratory (apex laboratory in the
country) for pesticide residues and aflatoxins in all matrices by Food Safety
and Standard Authority of India.
Recognized as National Referral Laboratory by ICAR:
ICAR recognized
this lab as the National referral Laboratory of pesticide residues and food
safety in fruits. Accordingly, the mandate of institute has been revised.
