In second phase 'Special Central
Assistance (SCA) to Scheduled Castes Sub Plan (SCSP)'
programme officials of ICAR-NRC for Grapes, Pune conducted programme of
distribution of Farm Implements, Fertilizers, Insecticides,
Pesticides, etc to beneficiary Scheduled Caste farmers from A/P. – Tandulwadi,
Tal – Jalna, district – Jalna Region. The programme was conducted in presence of
Dr.R.G.Somkuwar, Director ICAR- NRCG, Administrative Officer, Sarpanch and
Upsarpanch of Tandulwadi. Farm Implements (Wheel
barrow, storage, Tarpaulin sheet), fertilizers, Insecticides, Pesticides, etc
material was distributed to 53 (fifty three beneficiary SC farmers. The Director
in his address mentioned that the beneficiaries would definitely improve their
level of production through the inputs provided and hoped that in future also,
such support would be provided by the institute. All the farmers gave their
thanks and assured ICAR-NRCG, Pune that they will utilize the materials given in
the best possible way. Vote of thanks was given by Mr. Madhukar Nikalje,
Upsarpanch, Tandulwdi grampanchayat.
