ANNOUNCEMENT of Virtual Sampling Training program

Training Title: “Demonstration on pack-house sampling technique in peanut and peanut products (PPP) for aflatoxin analysis”

National Referral Laboratory, ICAR-NRC for Grapes, Pune is pleased to announce a one-day virtual training program on “Demonstration on pack-house sampling technique in peanut and peanut products (PPP) for aflatoxin analysis”. The program is organized as part of our “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav”- a Government of India Initiative to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence.

Course objectives:

The primary focus of this training will be to deliberate the procedure for packhouse sampling of peanut and peanut products for aflatoxin analysis as per the APEDA regulations. The specific objective of this training as follows:

1. To understand the importance of sampling in peanut and peanut products for aflatoxin analysis

2. Familiarization and virtual demonstration of pack house sampling procedure in peanut and peanut produce (PPP) for aflatoxins analysis

3. Familiarization of pack house sampling procedure in peanut derived products and peanut intended for animal feed for aflatoxins analysis

You will learn about:

• Overview of residue monitoring plan (RMP) of APEDA for control of aflatoxin residues in peanut and peanut products

• Documentation requirement for various sampling procedures

• Pack house sampling procedure in peanut and peanut produce for aflatoxin analysis

• Pack house sampling procedure in peanut derived products and peanut intended for animal feed for aflatoxins analysis

• Packaging and transport of samples to the laboratory- Do’s and Don’ts.

Interested laboratories are requested to nominate their laboratory samplers on or before 4^th September, 2023. The filled up registration form may please be communicated to apedanrlpt@gmail.com on or before the deadline. A maximum of 50 participants only will be accommodated for this online training and confirmation will be given on first come first serve basis.

Registration Fee:

The registration fee for this one-day virtual training will be as given below;

Up to 5 participants= Rs. 10,000.00 + 18% GST=Rs. 11,800.00

6-10 participants= Rs. 20,000.00 + 18% GST= Rs. 23,600.00

11-15 participants= Rs. 30,000.00 + 18% GST= Rs. 35, 400.00
